Zorgbedrijf Vlaanderen was founded in 2020 and grew from the expertise of Zorgbedrijf Antwerpen. It began with the operation of the service centre and assisted living facilities 'Felix Brouwershof' in Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Waver and construction projects with assisted living facilities in Kapellen and Heist-op-den-Berg, among others.
In addition, with the management of residential care centre Vesalius, day care centre Brasschaat and the service flats Balderhof, Zorgbedrijf Brasschaat ('Brasschaat Care Company') was also established.
Zorgbedrijf Vlaanderen includes all the existing and future senior citizen care activities (home care, service centres, assisted living facilities and residential care centres) outside the territory of the city of Antwerp. Through Zorgbedrijf Vlaanderen, we manage 1,500 assisted living homes in 25 municipalities in Flanders. You can find all the information on this website.
Zorgbedrijf Brasschaat includes all the existing and future senior citizen care activities (home care, service centres, assisted living facilities and residential care centres) in the territory of the municipality of Brasschaat and operated by the legal entity Zorgbedrijf Brasschaat. Zorgbedrijf Antwerpen has grown into a strong brand in the care sector over the past 12 years and includes all the existing and future senior citizen care activities (home care, service centres, assisted living facilities and residential care centres) in the territory of the city of Antwerp. Youth care is also part of Zorgbedrijf Antwerpen, since it is organised on a district basis.
Zorgbedrijf Antwerpen has 49 service centres, a range of home services (such as cleaning help, household help/family care and personal alarm system), 3,750 service flats, 18 residential care centres in the city of Antwerp, an (online) store www.deschakel.be with products for and tested by senior citizens and 11 centres for youth care. It is the largest player in the Antwerp healthcare sector, with 4,000 motivated employees helping 20,000 customers every day. We offer support both for senior citizens – or 'the elderly' (although we don't use that word) and for families, The staff at our service centres, home services, service flats and residential care centres are happy to help you the way you want. At any time of the day, it's there.
Along with you, we will find the right combinations so that you find exactly what you are looking for. So that you will get the help you need. You can ask us for almost anything. From a nice meal at the service centre, through home assistance and transport, to a stay with all the care you need. If you need less help after a while, or if you need other support, we will find a solution. Immediately, if necessary.
Just as we do with Zorgbedrijf Antwerpen for Antwerp's senior citizens, Zorgbedrijf Vlaanderen's ambition is to become active in all the links in senior citizens' care, so that we can continue to support you and continuously adapt our offering to your demands.
